Lantern is a digital health company focused on revolutionizing the delivery and efficacy of mental health. Every year 50 million Americans experience a mental illness, yet only a third receive the care they need largely due to barriers around stigma, access and cost. Lantern is breaking down those barriers by combining proven clinical programs delivered via mobile phone and coupled with trained, professional coaches.
The Lantern mobile app uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is considered the gold standard for conditions such as anxiety, depression and eating disorders. Lantern coaches provide a much needed human element helping people make the tough behavioral health changes that improve outcomes.
Lantern, based in San Francisco, has years of research and clinical trials proving we deliver comparable efficacy and higher engagement at a fraction of the cost of traditional approaches. Our goal is to become the new standard of care integrating our mental health services into primary care, chronic care and employee populations.
