Shama Tajani, as TMC Innovation’s Community Liaison, combines her passion for access to quality healthcare and her background in community engagement to drive the mission of forming, fostering, recruiting, and funding healthcare companies worldwide that are shaping the future of healthcare. Her professional journey has been guided by a passion for access to quality healthcare and servant leadership. In her previous role as the Community Health Engagement Coordinator at Fort Bend County Health & Human Services, she expanded the outreach and engagement division by forging strong community partnerships and relationships and spearheading initiatives providing critical healthcare services such as COVID-19 vaccines, immunizations, chronic disease screenings, and preventative health education. Throughout her career journey with Texas Health & Human Services and the CDC’s Division of Reproductive Health, Shama has gained firsthand experience in addressing the healthcare needs of diverse populations and creating meaningful impact within local communities.

Shama received her Bachelor of Arts in Health and Society from the University of Texas at Austin and her Master of Public Health from Emory University.
