Saturday, August 3, 2019 | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Add to Calendar

The field of liver disease is constantly evolving. New research, clinical trials and therapeutic treatments can enhance physicians’ education and training. It has been observed that some physicians lack knowledge related to the most optimal treatments in liver disease and liver transplantation, as well as lack of the importance of the collective approach of therapeutic treatments for patient care.

This educational conference will hope to improve the comprehension of the latest liver disease and transplant treatments in various conditions such as cirrhosis and its clinical complications, nonalcoholic and alcoholic liver diseases and drug induced liver injury (DILI), Viral Hepatitis, Hepatobiliary Malignancy and general Liver Transplantation.

The conference will consist of lectures, which will include an open panel discussion and questions with the audience and presenters’ participation after the conclusion of the plenary session.

The audience for this continuing medical education activity will target an audience of Medical, Family Practice, and Surgical Residents; Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistant Trainees; Oncology, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Transplant Fellows; Primary Care Physicians in Family Practice or General Internal Medicine;
Gastroenterologists, Hepatologists and Oncologists; Transplant Nurse Coordinators; Nurses in Outpatient and Inpatient Settings; Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, and Nursing Students.
