The 5th Annual Advances in Critical Care Conference will feature speakers from the Texas Medical Center and around the country discussing all aspects of critical care. Topics will include the latest advances in sepsis, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), shock, trauma, and neurocritical care. Join us for cutting-edge discussions on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), mechanical circulatory support, and neuromonitoring. Breakout sessions will focus on ICU systems, team dynamics, and more. Many advances are made in the broad field of critical care each year. The conference presents the opportunity to hear from experts in the field, discuss the developments with informed panelists, and allow for meaningful audience engagement, providing an opportunity for improved patient care. We will examine technological advances that will soon become routine practice.

This multidisciplinary and multispecialty symposium allows the entire critical care team and care network to discuss these topics in a two-day meeting. We hope to offer clinicians a better understanding of why they do what they do, evidence based presentations to modify their existing practice, a collaborative network to share and engage in ideas, and a thirst to acquire new knowledge to improve patient care at their institutions.
