2nd Annual DACCPM Health Care Equity, Professionalism, and Wellness Conference

Overview
The goal of this conference is to further engage the perioperative faculty and staff in understanding the importance of fostering supportive work environments to address mental health disparities among patients and coworkers. Participants will explore strategies for reducing stigma, promoting mental health awareness, and providing resources for mental health support within the healthcare workplace and for patients.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

Identify and address existing DEI knowledge gaps in the workplace/practice.
Develop best practices in professionalism and wellness for healthcare professionals
Promote a multidisciplinary approach to addressing and promoting wellness in healthcare.

The conference will be in a hybrid format. The in-person conference registration will be held at the (FCT) – T. Boone Pickens Tower located at 1400 Pressler Street, Houston, Texas 77030 on Floor 3 and will begin at 8:00 AM on Monday, October 23. A separate area will be set up for speaker check-in.

In-person registration space is limited. Maximum in-person registration is 80 attendees.
