To assist the spiritual needs of staff, patients and families, an Ash Wednesday Prayer Service (Ecumenical Christian Lenten Service) is planned for Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 12 p.m. in the Houston Hospice Cockrell Chapel located at 1905 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, Texas 77030. Following the 15-minute service, disposition of ashes will continue until 1 p.m. on a walk in, walk out basis.

Parking at Houston Hospice is reserved for hospice visitors; however a welcome is extended to all Texas Medical Center staff and volunteers who would like to walk from their TMC location. Additionally, Houston Hospice welcomes all faiths and persons for a moment of prayer during this service that marks the beginning of Lent, the Christian penitential season of preparation before Easter.
