The psychiatric hospital rankings are compiled from the past three years of reputational scores determined by physicians nationwide who are board-certified in psychiatry. These physicians name the hospitals that they consider best for patients with serious or difficult conditions regardless of expense or location. Menninger has ranked 5th among all psychiatric hospitals nationally for the past four years and among the top nine hospitals for all 27 years that U.S. News & World Report has ranked hospitals to aid consumers and health care professionals find the best care.<\/p>\n
