Lauren C. Kane, M.D., has joined Texas Children\u2019s Heart Center as a new cardiovascular surgeon. Kane is also an assistant professor of surgery and pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine. Kane\u2019s clinical and research interests include the full spectrum of congenital heart surgery, with a particular interest in neonatal palliation and outcomes-based research. She previously served as assistant professor of congenital heart surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She earned her bachelor\u2019s degree from The University of Texas at Arlington, and her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical School at Houston.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
