This distinction recognizes outstanding accomplishments in areas such as safety, patient care and commitment to serving the community. This is the fifth time Texas Children\u2019s Hospital West Campus earned this elite award.<\/p>\n<p>Being designated as a Leapfrog Top Hospital is one of the most competitive and exclusive honors an American hospital can receive. Texas Children\u2019s Hospital West Campus was recognized for meeting and exceeding the toughest standards for patient safety and quality.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are honored to receive the Leapfrog 2018 Top Children\u2019s Hospital award again this year,\u201d said Ivett Shah, vice president of Texas Children\u2019s Hospital West Campus. \u201cThis award recognizes our team of physicians, nurses and employees who work tirelessly to provide the highest-quality of care, in the safest environment, for our patients. We are proud to have our work recognized by the Leapfrog Group and we will continue to provide exemplary care for our community.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Leapfrog Group, an independent hospital watchdog organization, provides the only national, public comparison of hospitals across safety, quality and efficiency dimensions.
