Twenty-three medical device startup companies kicked off their residencies this week\u00a0in the four-month TMC Innovation Institute accelerator program.<\/p>\n

This is the seventh installment of TMCx,\u00a0a program designed to meet the needs of startups at every stage while reducing barriers of access to hospital stakeholders and key opinion leaders across the world’s largest medical center.<\/p>\n

The new cohort, chosen from 190 applications, is also the most international; nearly one-third of the applicants were from outside of the United States. The two dozen chosen startups represent seven countries.<\/p>\n
