Little, M.D., a cardiologist with Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart &amp; Vascular Center, was recently named one of the top 27 cardiologists in the United States by Forbes magazine.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeing selected for this list is a great honor,\u201d said Little, a West University resident. \u201cI admire so many of the other physicians and it\u2019s incredible to be considered as one of their peers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Little\u2019s research group creates complex 3D printed hearts to better understand heart valve function and disease using multimodality imaging. The 3D hearts also give cardiologists and surgeons a more precise way to plan and perfect catheter-based repair of structural heart problems.<\/p>\n<p>Little also serves as program director for the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship program, medical director of the Valve Clinic and director of the Houston Methodist Valve Institute and the Cardiovascular Hemodynamics Imaging Laboratory (CHIL).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Stephen H.
