Society’s Seventh Annual Meeting
The seventh annual meeting of the Society of Hematologic Oncology (SOHO 2019) is scheduled for September 11–14, 2019 at the Hilton Americas, 1600 Lamar St, Houston, Texas 77010. Organized by its founders and world class committees, SOHO is the only international society specific to the field of hematologic malignancies.
The 2019 meeting promises to be a dynamic and informative event. SOHO is the premier meeting that focuses specifically on new advances and practical clinical applications in the field of hematologic malignancies. The speakers are a multidisciplinary group of internationally recognized experts that represent the spectrum of these diseases. This year, we expect more than 1,500 physicians, nurses and related healthcare specialists to attend the 3.5-day meeting and participate in a number of unique educational formats including General Sessions, Meet-the-Professor Sessions, Expert Sessions, Oral Abstract Presentations and other interactive and informal exchanges.
Topics will cover the latest advances in the pathophysiology and therapy of the following malignancies:
- Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
- Acute Myeloid Leukemia
- Aggressive B-Cell Lymphoma
- Cellular Therapy
- Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
- Chronic Myeloid Leukemia
- Indolent B-Cell Lymphoma
- Hodgkin Lymphoma
- Mantle Cell Lymphoma
- Myelodysplastic Syndromes
- Myeloproliferative Neoplasms
- T-Cell Lymphoma
Presenters will cover material that will be invaluable in improving both patient management approaches and in assisting research efforts. SOHO anticipates that these sessions will appeal to hematologist-oncologists in all practice settings as well as to those in training, such as residents and fellows, affiliated health professionals and others with an interest in the field.
Message from the Chairpersons
On behalf of the organizing committees, it is our pleasure to invite you to attend the Seventh Annual Meeting of the Society of Hematologic Oncology (SOHO). As many of you know, SOHO was established in 2012 with aims to promote worldwide research, education, prevention, clinical studies and optimal patient care in all aspects of hematologic malignancies. Since that time, SOHO has grown from a membership base of 400 to more than 3,000. Organized by its founders and world class committees, SOHO is the only society specific to this field.
The annual meeting program focuses on new advances and practical clinical applications, with special emphasis on novel biological and therapeutic approaches, for patients with hematologic malignancies. In addition, the speakers are a multidisciplinary group of internationally recognized experts that represent the spectrum of these diseases.
We would like to thank all SOHO members, attendees and industry partners whose contributions and participation have been essential to the success of SOHO. We look forward to seeing you in September.
