Please join us as we discuss the results of the TMC Health Policy Institute’s Healthy Eating Initiative, our effort to promote healthy food choices within the medical center — and beyond.

We’ll discuss the results of several TMC efforts to promote healthy eating including:

  • Labeling vending machines across the TMC
  • Labeling cafeteria menu items in the TMC
  • Engaging employees in a weight-reduction program
  • Encouraging the purchase of healthy foods at corner stores in Houston neighborhoods
