“Hocus Pocus” was the theme of this year’s Boo Ball held Oct. 27 at the Hilton Americas Houston to benefit Ronald McDonald House Houston.

The magical evening drew hundreds of costumed guests. Spotted in the ballroom were flappers, characters from Pixar’s The Incredibles franchise, University of Houston cheerleaders, seductive witches, Duck Dynasty personalities and many other masqueraders.

Stephanie and Anthony Milam chaired the event and KHOU Channel 11 meteorologist Chita Craft emceed. Rick Noriega, CEO of Ronald McDonald House Houston, addressed the crowd before guests settled in for dinner. A live auction offered VIP luxury suite tickets to a Houston Rockets game and a handmade quilt.

The soiree raised $970,000 for Ronald McDonald House Houston, a home away from home for families with seriously ill children who are being treated at the Texas Medical Center.

Last month, Ronald McDonald House Houston cut the ribbon on its newly renovated flagship facility, Holcombe House, which brings accommodations from 50 to 70 private bedrooms—each featuring two queen beds and a full bath.
