NASA Hosts #SpaceBowl for Social Media Influencers

On Feb. 1, NASA’s Johnson Space Center hosted an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour for social media influencers from across the country. Attendees, among them representatives from the Texas Medical Center, participated in an interactive discussion with the current space station crew followed by tours of the Mission Control Center, the Space Vehicle Mock-up Facility and the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory. The event highlighted NASA’s astronaut training techniques, deep space technologies and the work taking place today to prepare humans for a journey to Mars. Stay tuned for a more in-depth look at how current work aboard the International Space Station is advancing human health here on Earth in an upcoming issue of TMC Pulse.
