1 Minute Read

Adaani Frost, M.D., nationally recognized in pulmonology, is now director of the Houston Methodist Lung Center. Frost has contributed to and served on steering committees for most of the pulmonary hypertension clinical studies in the United States over the past 20 years.

The Houston Methodist Lung Center is one of only a handful in the nation to offer comprehensive diagnosis and management of all types of lung diseases in one location. Houston Methodist’s pulmonology program is ranked No. 17 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.

“We’re focused on the entire spectrum of lung diseases, and our center will continue Houston Methodist’s commitment to exemplary and personalized patient care for both common and complex disorders of breathing,” said Frost, whose clinical research interests also include pulmonary fibrosis.

The Houston Methodist Lung Center’s team of experts also provides tailored treatment plans for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), neuromuscular lung disorders and lung cancer, to name a few. In addition to treating patients, the center also offers clinical studies including novel therapies in a wide range of lung disease such as pulmonary hypertension, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis and lung cancer.

Frost has an M.D. from the Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada, was named a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 1990, and was the first lung transplant fellow in North America as a graduate of the Toronto Lung Transplant fellowship training program.
