2015 Trauma Informed Care Conference: Transforming the Lives of Families

This two day conference will bring together more than 350 professionals from across the nation that work with children and families including mental health providers, social workers, school personnel, and medical/nursing professionals. The conference will provide expert guidance and education on the effects of trauma as well as evidence-based practices in recognizing and treating trauma.

This conference is intended for professionals experienced in using evidence-based practices in recognizing and treating trauma. Areas of focus for the conference include working with youth who identify as LGBTQ, youth with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and unaccompanied minors. The conference will include multiple offerings that satisfy the ethics and diversity requirements for licensing boards.

Pre-Conference Event

The Pre-Conference event will feature an advanced seminar on the Integrative Treatment of Complex Trauma for Adolescents (ITCT-A) by Cheryl Lanktree, Ph.D., Co-developer of ITCT-A and Clinical Associate Professor for the Dept of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Southern California (USC).

If you register for the conference, you are eligible to receive a discounted rate of $50. If you do not attend the conference, you can still attend the pre-conference event for $75 (early bird) or $100 (after 9/1/15).

Please note: The pre-conference event will take place at the DePelchin Children Center Campus at 4950 Memorial Dr. Houston, TX 77007. Space is limited.
