Texas Children’s holds 5th Annual Teddy Bear Clinic

On March 7, more than 300 patient families participated in the 5th Annual Teddy Bear Clinic at Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus. At the fun and educational event, each child received a teddy bear patient, which they escorted through a variety of stations and clinics to learn what happens during a typical hospital experience.

The teddy bears made their way through stations including Admissions, Audiology, the Cancer Center, Child Life, Nutrition, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, Pathology, Patient and Family Services, the Pi Beta Phi Patient and Family Library, Preoperative Services, Radiology and Support Services. The event, organized by the Child Life team, was an entertaining adventure for all patient families who participated.
