Matthew Schlueter

Matthew Schlueter was recently named Chief Nurse Officer for Harris Health System for Ambulatory Care Services. He has more than 20 years of clinical and nursing leadership experience, most recently as administrative director of ambulatory specialty services for Harris Health. Schlueter began his career at Harris Health in 1999 as trauma coordinator for Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital’s Level 3 trauma center. He was later promoted to nurse manager of perioperative services at the hospital. He has two master’s degrees in Nursing and Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University in Houston. He also holds nursing licensures in Texas and California.
