Houston Methodist Hospital grief support member celebrates 100th birthday

The Houston Methodist Hospital Grief Support Group recently celebrated the 100th birthday of one of their founding members, Walter “Brownie” Brown. Brownie was one of the first members to start the support group after his wife of 61 years, Frances, passed away in 2004.

Since then, Brownie has been an active member of the support group, which meets once a month and provides opportunities for members to share their experiences with loss, connect with others who are grieving, and participate in fun, social outings.
