Texas Access to Cancer Cell Therapies (TACCT)

The Cancer Prevention Research Institute of Texas(CPRIT) has funded a program at the Center for Cell & Gene Therapy at Baylor College of Medicine that will aid Texas Investigators with their Phase 1 clinical trials. Texas Access to Cancer Cell Therapies (TACCT) will assist investigators throughout the state by manufacturing and testing of cellular and/or gene therapy products required for new cancer-directed treatments. The products will be made in a class 10,000 GMP Facility that has 22 clean rooms. CAGT’s GMP Facility is registered with the FDA and Accredited by The Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT). In addition, TACCT will provide regulatory assistance to prepare the Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) section of the Investigational New Drug (IND) application.
