Mr. O. Holcombe Crosswell
Chairman Emeritus, Texas Medical Center
Mr. O. Holcombe Crosswell is Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Directors of Texas Medical Center (TMC). Prior to being the chairman emeritus, Mr. Crosswell was the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, a Member of the Executive Committee, and Chairman of Forward Planning and Covenant Compliance Committees. An alumni of the Kinkaid School, Mr. Crosswell attended the University of Texas and graduated with a BBA in 1963. During his time at the University of Texas, he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Mr. Crosswell is currently the President of the Griggs Corporation and has in this position since 1970.
His community activities include: The Kinkaid School – Life Trustee and Former Chairman and Co-Chairman of The 100th Anniversary Celebration, Harris County Metropolitan Transit Authority – Former Member of Board of Directors and Chairman, CenterPoint Energy, Inc. – Former Member of the Board of Directors since 1987, University of Houston – Downtown – Advisory Board Member of the Criminal Justice Training Center, The “C” Club – Member and Former President. Also, Mr. Crosswell was awarded in 2011 as one of Houston’s Men of Distinction.
In addition to all of his accomplishments, Mr. Crosswell is a loving father and husband to his four children, twelve grandchildren, and his wife of over 50 years.
