Jose Guzman is the Program Manager for the Center for Device Innovation (CDI) at TMC Innovation, where he oversees facility operations and manages the Biodesign program. In this role, he ensures early-stage startups have the infrastructure, resources, and support needed to advance their medical device technologies.

Before joining CDI, Jose worked in product development and manufacturing, focusing on innovation within pediatric dental, medical imaging, diagnostics, and surgical medical devices. His background spans both startup and corporate settings, giving him a well-rounded perspective on product development from concept through commercialization. Jose holds a Master’s in Biomedical Innovation and Development from Georgia Tech and brings a strong understanding of the full product life cycle. His focus on technical development, manufacturing, and real-world application makes him a valuable asset to TMC Innovation and CDI’s mission of advancing innovative medical technologies.
