Alejandro is a software developer and product manager with years of experience in Digital Health. He led the creation of consumer facing web and mobile applications as well as worked directly with numerous innovative digital health companies.

Most recently, he was the Digital Health Analyst at the Texas Medical Center Innovation Institute, where he has worked directly with 12 digital health startups, and 10 medical devices startups. He helped companies evaluate and improve their business models, value proposition, and technology positioning, as well as navigate the vast medical center network. In addition, Alex engaged and interviewed more than 170 digital health companies to analyze technology and business model viability.

Previously, Harb worked as a web and mobile software developer at SoulByte. There, he developed mobile app interfaces along with cloud databases.

He also has had extensive product management experience as a product lead with GoFit by QuickEasyApps, an early stage startup in Austin, Texas, where he lead the creation of an internal content collection workflow tool. Previously a Data Analyst, he leveraged data science technologies for cleaning and analyzing large data sets.

Prior to moving into Digital Health, Harb worked as a researcher and published peer reviewed articles on drug delivery and chronic infections at the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy.

Alejandro holds a B.S in Biochemistry and B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
