The Community Engagement Core of NIH-Funded Center for Biomedical and Minority Health Research at Texas Southern University in collaboration with the Gulf Coast Consortium, Office of Patient Engagement, Diversity, and Education at Houston Methodist Hospital and Office of the Associate Dean for Research at the Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine, University of Houston is excited to host its “Inaugural Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Data in healthcare” conference with a target audience of faculty, students, staff, lay community members, as well as faith leaders, community leaders, community advocates, policy/decision makers, funding agencies, insurance, biopharma entities, healthcare entities, conference will feature three main activities as below:

Awareness: Case study/Panel discussion and speaker session. Advocacy: Highlight of Artificial Intelligence and Health equity research at TSU.
Action: Highlight what’s new in Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Data in healthcare—the opportunity to experience wearable health devices and technology in healthcare.
