Pumps & Pipes 2022: Ion to Infinity

Pumps & Pipes, Houston’s premier innovation event bringing together leaders across aerospace, energy, and medicine for cross-industry discussions & partnerships, is taking place this year on December 5, 2022 8am – 3pm at the Ion. After a 3 year hiatus due to COVID, Pumps & Pipes has rebranded and is hosting its largest event to date with a focus on Robotics, XR (extended reality), AI (artificial intelligence) and Web3.

Headlining the event is Penn Jillette (from the famous Las Vegas magic duo Penn & Teller) who will emcee and share his take on how magic and innovation are not as different as you would think. Speakers include key leaders, both locally & nationally, from various industries including Dr. Lucie Low, Chief Scientist for Microgravity Research at Axiom Space; Michelle Stansbury, Chief Innovation Officer at Houston Methodist; and Juliana Garaizar, VP of Innovation at Greentown Labs, and many more.
