ABOUT NSAP
NSAP or Neuromotor Skill Advancement for Post-baccalaureates is a 10-week summer program at the University of Houston IUCRC BRAIN Center to provide didactic and hands-on activities focusing on the development of highly specialized technical skills to study the brain with the intention to complement and enhance the training of therapists, clinical and research fellows, and orthotists and prosthetists from a diverse community for neurorehabilitation and neuroengineering research. This program is funded by the National Institutes of Health R25 program and will be held at the University of Houston BRAIN center.
Each trainee in the science, bioengineering, neuroscience, or medical fields at the post baccalaureate level (with a bachelor’s degree) will participate in 8 workshops, responsible conduct of training, and attend research seminars, and immersive collaborative and personalized research experiences.
