Cardiovascular imaging plays a vital role in the management of the cardiovascular patient. Knowledge of various imaging modalities is critical to understanding their advantages, limitations and appropriate utilization in patients with coronary disease, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, valvular and aortic disease.
