Using the latest lung cancer screening recommendations, this training will equip providers with the skills to conduct an effective lung cancer screening program in primary care settings.
The target audience for this training is primary care providers and other healthcare professionals in Texas.
This training will be held live via Zoom. Participants will be asked to complete a pre-training and post-training survey.
Learning Objectives:
Identify current lung cancer screening recommendations and additional patient characteristics that indicate need for screening.
Describe the role of primary care providers in lung cancer screening counseling and shared decision making.
Discuss benefits of lung cancer screening including early diagnosis and mortality reduction.
