Join us at the HCMS Academic and Employed Physician Social at the TMC Library on Thursday, August 20, from 4:30 – 7:00 pm. This special event includes networking, refreshments, and an ethics CME.

This event is free and is only open to licensed physicians practicing in Harris County, fellows, and residents. Registration is required.

Self-pay parking is available in Garage 3, located underneath the Library, and Garage 4, located one-and-a-half blocks from the Library with entrances on Cambridge and Ross Sterling Streets.

CME Objectives: Discuss potential pitfalls with termination clauses and how to avoid them; Describe the process of terminating physician employment and the obligations associated with patient notifications and the status of medical records; Explain how employment agreements can interact with staffing agreements and medical staff bylaws; Compare different models of handling A/R and post-termination payments.
