This course will provide a practical overview of ethanol ablation techniques for atrial and ventricular
arrhythmias.

Cardiac arrhythmias can be refractory to radiofrequency catheter ablation. Ethanol ablation techniques can
prove useful for certain cases of atrial fibrillation, peri-mitral flutter, ventricular arrhythmias arising from the
left ventricular summit, and others. Learners will be exposed to such ethanol ablation techniques with practical
case demonstrations. The format combines formal didactics on the rationale and techniques of ethanol
ablation and will observe their practical implementation in two live cases.
