Epigenetic Therapy for Ovarian Cancer: A Surgeon Scientist’s Perspective

Join us for a Dean’s Lecture featuring Dr. Dineo Khabele of the Washington University Medical School on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at noon at 6431 Fannin, Suite MSB 3.001, Houston, Texas 77030. Dr. Khabele is currently the Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her research focuses on the pathology of ovarian cancer and the design of new therapeutic strategies. She also studies the differences in gene expression between the different stages of ovarian cancer by combining xenografts from patients with mouse models to understand both genetic and epigenetic alterations in the DNA damage response.
