Advances in life sciences are outpacing traditionally defined research disciplines. To meet this challenge, Advanced Biology has expanded the scope of the journal to not only include innovations in basic and applied life sciences, but now also encourages submissions at the intersection of traditionally defined disciplines, i.e., cross-disciplinary studies, where integrative and emerging fields of investigation are being formed.

The expanded scope of Advanced Biology is intended to be understood in its broadest sense as life sciences investigational research, perspectives and reviews across multiple traditional and emerging disciplines.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

To explore the interface between cancer and the nervous system;
To discuss the mediators, mechanisms, and implications of neuro-cancer crosstalk in the central and peripheral nervous systems;
Understand neurotoxicities and nervous system health during cancer therapy; and
To introduce novel concepts in targeting the mediators, mechanisms, and implications of neuro-immune crosstalk in the central and peripheral nervous systems.
