31st Annual Nursing Conference – Building Bridges at the End of Life: Connection, Care, and Meaning

For 31 years, the Institute for Spirituality and Health has joined a host of collaborating organizations at the forefront of the exploration of the intersection of the nursing professions, spirituality, health, and healing. This year’s conference focuses on the end of life, a time when the relationship between spirituality and health is often most apparent.

Program Objectives are to:
– identify strategies for communicating with patients and families
– explore meaning at the end of life
– discuss approaches to end of life care across faith traditions
– explore end of life communication tools

This activity provides 5.0 contact hours of nursing continuing professional development. Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
