2nd Annual INTRAOPERATIVE NEUROMONITORING SYMPOSIUM

Neurophysiological intraoperative neuromonitoring
is frequently used to help identify nervous system
pathways at risk for injury during a wide range of surgical
procedures. The objective of this program is to understand
the methodologies and practice of neuromonitoring
from the perspective of the surgeon, neurophysiologist,
technologist, anesthesiologists and nurses. This program
will provide education regarding the various aspects
of neuromonitoring including basic technical issues,
interpretation and medicolegal aspects. The ways in which
institutions can collaborate with national companies to
provide high quality services will also be discussed.
