This activity aims to address advanced supportive/palliative care topics. Professionals can expect an improvement in knowledge, including the latest state-of-the-art advances in the field, to support the best and most effective supportive/palliative care medicine practices. As a result of participating in the Symposium, the Symposium organizing committee intends the participants to identify the moral and ethical dilemmas facing clinicians who provide end-of-life care, practice state-of-the-art pain and symptom management for patients with advanced disease; demonstrate effective communication with patients in advanced stages of cancer or debilitating disease and provide quality end-of-life care; and exhibit heightened awareness of medical, legal, and spiritual issues facing patients and families involved in the care of advanced disease.

Educational Objectives
After this activity, learners will be able to:
• Develop effective communication skills with patients in advanced cancer or debilitating disease stages to deliver high-quality end-of-life care.
• Recognize moral and ethical dilemmas encountered in palliative care, integrating supportive care strategies to enhance patient well-being.
• Incorporate cutting-edge pain and symptom management for individuals with advanced diseases.
• Implement principles of palliative care in the context of life-threatening diseases.
• Add two optimal approaches that encompass the most recent advancements in palliative and
supportive care.

Target Audience
This program should interest palliative care or hospice physicians, oncologists, internal medicine physicians, family practice physicians, psychiatrists, and/or anesthesiologists. Other professionals include hospice, nursing, psychology, chaplaincy, ethics, and/or sociology
