Friday, Oct. 11, 2024 • Health Care Professionals Day
This program is designed to familiarize health care professionals, including neurologists and non-neurologists, regarding clinical presentations and evaluation of patients with acquired neuromuscular junction disorders, such as myasthenia gravis and Lambert Eaton myasthenic syndrome, to enable care providers the ability to diagnose and manage the myasthenic patient in the acute and ambulatory care settings and minimize disease morbidity and mortality.

Saturday, Oct. 12, 2024 • Patient Education Day
This program will provide an overview of acquired autoimmune myasthenia gravis to affected patients, their families, and care providers so that the patient can self-advocate for appropriate treatment and management by their healthcare professionals and within the system of medicine and research. In addition, the conference will provide an opportunity for networking among patients for community support and formal advocacy.
A Patient Health Fair will take place at 1:00 PM after the lectures directly outside the Bookout auditorium where the morning lectureships will take place.
