Battling Colds and Flu

You're coughing, sneezing, and aching all over - is it the flu, or just a cold?

A new brochure published by Baylor College of Medicine, Colds, Flu and Other Bugs: Tips for Prevention and Relief, helps you determine what's got you down, and offers suggestions on how to avoid and recuperate from common bugs.

To keep your immune system in top form, experts recommend getting regular exercise, keeping a healthy diet, getting enough sleep and managing stress wisely. Paying attention to your health before the cold and flu season arrives will arm you against the different types of bugs that make the rounds.

In addition, the brochure explains bacterial and viral illnesses and what you can do to feel better as quickly as possible.
