- A Multidisciplinary Approach to a Child in Pain, sponsored by Texas Children's Hospital, Nov. 12, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., at the Edwin Hornberger Conference Center. - Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas Great Pumpkin Fun Run, benefiting the Texas Heart Institute, Sat., Oct. 30. - The Bazaar is Back With the Union Jack, sponsored by Daughters of the British Empire, Nov. 6, beginning at 10 a.m., at the Scottish Rite Temple on North Braeswood. This bazaar raises funds for the Mountbatten House, a retirement home near Houston, and other Houston charities. Open to the public; $2 entrance fee.
