To "Sum"mit Up ... Primary care physicians with a family practice focus have the opportunity to earn a maximum of 29 accredited Continuing Medical Education hours this month by attending the Texas Association of Family Practitioners Primary Care 2002 Summit, presented in cooperation with The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Taking place Oct. 24 through 27 at the Houstonian Hotel, Club and Spa, the annual continuing medical education program is designed for physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners specializing in family medicine, internal medicine, and pediatrics. Lectures, interactive discussions and hands-on workshops will be featured. Presenters include physicians from Baylor College of Medicine, Cornell Medical Center, Johns Hopkins Medical Center, Texas A&M University Medical School, Texas Diabetes Institute, the University of California at Los Angeles, the University of Florida, the University of Louisville, the University of North Texas Health Science Center, University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
