The new class schedule at the Houston Academy of Medicine/Texas Medical Center Library is here. Almost 40 classes have been scheduled between Sept. and Dec., 1999. Standard classes in PubMed (MEDLINE), CINAHL, PowerPoint (97), Reference Manager (9.0), EndNote (3.0), Internet, and HTML are all returning. Some new classes will also debut:

  • Navigating Full-Text Journals: a class on how to access the over 1,000 full-text electronic journals now available through the HAM-TMC Library.
  • Introduction to Microsoft Access: a class covering the basics of this relational database software.
  • Creating Tables & Graphs: a class on the use of Excel and Word to create and format graphs and tables for publication.
