Daily Programs
- Don't Sneeze On Me! A 15-minute hands-on science class that focuses on the immune system and how it fights off invaders. Special Spanish programs are offered on Thursdays at 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.
- The Secret Life of 118 Green Street. A video program about the invisible world that lives in, on and around a family on Green Street.
- Body Invaders. Take a trip inside your body to see how the immune system fights off infections and other foreign invaders in this video program. Subtitled in Spanish for all shows.
- Transparent Anatomical Manikin. A 15-minute video that provides an overview of the entire human body. Programs narrated in Spanish are offered on Thursdays at 5 and 6 p.m.

- Thursday, June 11: Germbusters, during Free Family Thursday (4-7 p.m.). Are you a macrophage? Discover the fabulous Germbuster team that lives inside your body during this audience participation family program. 4 p.m., 5 p.m. (Spanish) and 6 p.m.
- Saturday, June 13: Weird Science Saturday, theme: Parasites, Pests & Pals: What's Living On You? Hear about life from the point-of-view of the microorganisms that live on your skin, in your eyelashes and your intestines. 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.
- Thursday, June 18: The Gunk On My Teeth, during Free Family Thursday (4-7 p.m.). Get an up-close view of the microbes that lurk in the dark crevasses of your mouth - and your pet's mouth. You'll learn why your parents make you brush your teeth. 4 p.m., 5 p.m. (Spanish) and 6 p.m.
- Thursday, June 25: The Sick Picnic, during Free Family Thursday (4-7 p.m.). Travel to a small town and solve the mystery of the sick picnic. 4 p.m., 5 p.m. (Spanish) and 6 p.m.

Library Sponsors Second Annual Computers in Health Care Conference
The Houston Academy of Medicine-Texas Medical Center Library will hold its second annual Computers in Health Care Conference beginning at 9 a.m. on June 22, in the Sammons Auditorium of the Jesse Jones Library Building. The theme of this year's conference is "Cyberspace Medicine."
Speakers include Joseph P. Kerwin, M.D., senior vice president, Wyle Laboratories and the first U.S. physician to fly in space; Jack Smith, M.D., Ph.D., chair, department of health informatics, The University of Texas-Houston School of Allied Health Sciences; Robert J. Beck, M.D., vice president for information technology, Baylor College of Medicine; and Stephen J. Spann, M.D., professor and chairman, department of family and community medicine, Baylor College of Medicine. Registration fee is $10 before June 15, $15 after.
