Feigins Pull for Kids The 11th annual Pull for Kids Classic, one of Child Advocate Inc.’s largest fund raisers, is set for Saturday, May 10. Chaired by Jeff Cotner, this year’s event will honor Houston medical community legends Ralph D. Feigin, M.D., Texas Children’s Hospital’s physician in chief and chairman of Baylor College of Medicine’s pediatrics department, and Judith Z. Feigin, Ed.D., founder and director of the Texas Children’s Learning Support Center and chief of the hospital’s Clinic for Attention Problems and Clinic for Diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorders. The event, projected to raise more than $300,000, kicks off with a morning sporting clays tournament at the Westside Sporting Grounds in Katy. The evening festivities begin at 7 p.m. in Reliant Stadium. Guests can expect a Texas-sized “Blitz and Glitz” tailgating-themed party, which includes dinner, dancing, and live entertainment, plus a live and silent auction. All proceeds from the Pull for Kids Classic benefit Child Advocates Inc., which provides critical advocacy for Harris County children who are the victims of life-threatening abuse and neglect, and helps guide children into safe environments where they can thrive.
