Put on Your Thinking Cap
Museum Exhibit Features Brain Teasers

Have you ever solved a tangram? Or challenged your brain with the Tower of Brahma? Here’s your opportunity. Flex your smarts at the John P. McGovern Museum of Health & Medical Science exhibit “Brain Teasers,” an interactive science exhibit produced by the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry.

Hands-on problem solving is the name of the game with this traveling exhibit. Families and children will be challenged with puzzles, number games and intriguing shapes. Young children are invited to play with colorful shapes and solve brain teasers in the Kid’s Alcove.

“Brain Teasers” runs through May 4. The museum, located at 1515 Hermann Dr., is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. “Free Family Thursdays” are every Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. General admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children 4 to 12, and $2 for seniors 65 and older. For more information call (713) 521-1515.
