Nursing Scholarships Available

The Healthcare & Nursing Education Foundation is offering academic scholarships to individuals in the greater Houston area who are interested in pursuing a nursing career.

Eligible participants include anyone planning to attend a college or university located in the greater Houston area this fall. Students selected to receive scholarships will be awarded up to $4,500 per year, which can be used for tuition, books and fees at all Houston area colleges providing courses leading to a nursing degree.

Scholarships will be awarded based on academics, leadership ability, community involvement, financial need, and commitment to pursuing a nursing career. The deadline for application submission is March 29.

More than 95 students have received assistance from HNEF. Established in 1994, the group strives to make a critical difference in the health of the greater Houston community by providing nursing scholarships and community grants.
