Health Advice at the Click of a Mouse Baylor College of Medicine is offering a new free, online newsletter that provides up-to-date information and advice about health, medicine and negotiating today’s health care system. Findings goes online Jan. 15 and is available at http://www.bcm.findings.net. The initial issue includes an article by Anissa Anderson Orr about locating caregiving resources for Alzheimer’s disease patients, as well as an article by Ruth SoRelle profiling research conducted by Baylor scientist Mary Estes, Ph.D., into the Norwalk virus, infamous for attacking cruise ship passengers. In another story by SoRelle, Jennifer Hays, Ed.D., explains the design and meaning of the Women’s Health Initiative study of hormone replacement therapy. Findings, a consumer-oriented newsletter, joins its companion publication From the Laboratories, Baylor’s research-oriented publication available at http://www.fromthelab.net.
