Texas Children’s Pediatric Associates Opens Practice in Second Ward

Children in Houston’s Second Ward have a new pediatrician in their neighborhood. Texas Children’s Pediatric Associates has teamed up with Neighborhood Centers Inc. to bring a new pediatric practice to Ripley House at 4410 Navigation Blvd.

"It’s our goal to provide the best physicians to our patients," said Ayse McCracken, TCPA president. "By opening this practice, we feel we will be able to better serve the needs of this community."

A full-time physician and two medical professionals staff the practice, which opened Nov. 18, and provide primary care and health education to children in the Second Ward.

NCI is a nonprofit organization that strives to bring resources, education and connection to underserved neighborhoods. TCPA, a subsidiary of Texas Children’s, is a nonprofit health corporation with nearly 50 practices and more than 130 pediatricians throughout the Houston area.
