Driving in the Texas Medical Center

Rules and Regulations for Driving in the Texas Medical Center: Because many of the people driving and walking in the Texas Medical Center are here at times of personal distress and may not be familiar with our campus, the speed limit is set at 20 miles per hour, unless otherwise posted. The speed limit in parking garages is 10 miles per hour. For everyone's convenience, visitors are asked to park only in designated areas. Please observe posted time zones, visitors' zones, fire lanes, and handicapped zones. Always drive and park carefully, and with courtesy toward others.
