WomenHeart Houston (Support Group) with Special Guest Alejandro Chaoul-Reich
WomenHeart Houston is a support group providing peer-to-peer patient support and education for women living with heart disease. This kind of support is crucial to a woman’s recovery and well being, and that of her family. Alejandro is the author of Chöd Practice in the Bön Religion, and has also written various articles on the role of mind-body practices in integrative cancer care, on Tibetan meditation and ritual practices, and on the intersection of humanities, spirituality and medicine. In his teaching, he combines the academic, the Bon-Buddhist practices and his experience in the healthcare field. He also serves as the Director of the Ligmincha Texas Institute for Tibetan Meditative and Healing Arts. For more information visit WomenHeart Houston on Facebook and contact Lisa and Rebecca at firstname.lastname@example.org to RSVP.
