The TMC Student Affairs Council has planned a Texas Medical Center-wide volunteer week specifically for students called TMC Serves. TMC Serves is an opportunity for the students of Texas Medical Center institutions to give back to the Houston community and join together after Hurricane Harvey. For the third year, the students of the TMC will be heading to the Houston Food Bank, and we are hoping for all of you to join us! This will be the final event for the Student Affairs Council post-Harvey volunteer week.
We will start the day off at the Texas Medical Center’s Accelerator (TMCx) where you will receive a TMC Serves t-shirt, brunch, and of course, coffee! After everyone arrives, we will travel by self-provided carpool to the Houston Food Bank where we will volunteer for the remaining part of the day.
